A SERIOUS STUDIO PROJECT
The Serious Review is Serious Studio's magazine on branding, business, and design.
THE OBJECTIVE
Serious Studio wanted to convey and share its values, learnings, and insights in a new and accessible platform. The first issue revolved around the theme of Outliers, and much like outliers, we wanted the visuals to challenge the norm, go beyond, and disrupt. Elements are found in the middle of change and movement, usually in the form of distortion, dynamism, and disassembly.
As creative director and project lead, I executed and took part in nearly every single step of the project.

Each page or article was intended to be designed like its own world to draw the reader in while keeping the overall theme in mind and creating a cohesive visual narrative.
The magazine's creative direction and visuals were translated into social media content for highlights and features. At the same time, other visual directions were explored for its online publications.
