FAME+ Market Days is an immersive online event organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the Philippines.
The three-day digital expo held in October 20-22, 2021 allowed buyers from all over the world to discover premium products from top local brands and manufacturers, to connect, network, and learn from thought leaders in design.
THE OBJECTIVE
I was asked to create an illustration as the event's key visual and wanted it to represent and encapsulate the event's ethos and purpose, and of course, to invite guests in as well.
PROJECT SCOPE
Illustration
I wanted the illustration to draw people in and entice them to step into this space where they could immerse themselves in the thousands of home, fashion, and lifestyle products. I made sure to highlight featured products from the exhibit, as well as the event's online nature.
The illustration influenced the direction and execution of other event collaterals and applications. Its grid-like structure gave it flexibility and allowed the team to break it up and use in a variety of layouts.
