Mt. Camisong is an ecotourism park in Benguet, Philippines that offers a unique mountain experience for all ages and interests.
THE OBJECTIVE
As they continue to expand their brand, Mt. Camisong, wanted to add to the recreational activities guests can enjoy in the park. They partnered with Klaypel to create a set of DIY craft kits made of recycled paper to create unique artworks that celebrate the rich flora and fauna in the mountain.

I designed 9 illustrations with different levels of complexities to make the set suitable for all ages. The challenge was to get the right amount of detail in the illustrations so designs are fun and eye-catching but usable considering the dimensions of each kit, and limitations on available colors per level.
The Easy Level highlights endemic species in the Philippines: anahaw, turquoise flycatcher, begoniam and riodinidae butterfly. Illustrations are simplified for the intended younger audience, but still recognizable and unique.
The Medium Level interpret child-like curiosity and wonder while exploring Mt. Camisong's trails.
The Hard Level features wanderers in more complex scenes. Landscapes are more mythical and feel larger-than-life, celebrating the beauty of the outdoors.
