Yardstick is a beloved specialty coffee roasting company from the Philippines, ranking as of the top 100 best coffee shops in the world.
THE OBJECTIVE
I was approached by Yardstick to design a custom type piece of their tagline "Running on Coffee" to launch a new set of merch.

I wanted to type to reflect how you feel when you're running on coffee— fun, energetic, and lively.
There is also a subtle runner on the letter N as a little touch!

The type was applied to a variety of merchandise and materials from reflective runners' shirts, embroidered caps, to enamel pins.
Yardstick's team expanded the type into "Runner's High" for their new blend, a vibrant and electric grape-forward coffee with a grape co-ferment, perfect for staying cool on hot days.
